Wikileaks has shared thousands of leaked CIA documents in which information is shared on used hacking software by the CIA.
The data leak, named ''Year Zero'', consists out of over 8000 documents. The current leak is the first one in a series of leaks with information of the CIA. According to several sources, the documents come from the CIA-office in Langley, where the documents were stored on a secured network.
Since the leak, many different kinds of viruses and malware appear to be circulating amongst former government hackers and contractors. One of these people has apparently leaked the information, but Wikileaks does not want to share who exactly.

The documents contain information on how devices using iOS, Android and Windows can be hacked. Information on how the CIA hacked many different Samsung TV's is also stated.
Information on how to get around several forms of antivirus software is also stated. Besides several sorts of hacking information, information on the headquarters of the operations is also shared. The American Consulate in Frankfurt was used as the base of operations. Instructions for visitors of the consulate are also found amongst the documents in the leaks.
Concern
The source behind the leaks was concerned about the CIA operations, as the peson wondered whether the CIA was not taking the operations too far.
According to the source, the CIA was storing information about vulnerabilities in the security of several tech companies. These vulnerabilities were not shared with the specific companies, while Obama's government stated that the government would do this more often.
Some parts of the leaked documents have been made unreadable. Several attachments have not been published. Whether these attachments will be published in the future remains a mystery for now.
