From earlier reports it was known that the American safety service had infiltrated over a hundred financial institutions by hacking Swift payment systems. The developer of Swift-systems for small banks, Eastnets, has stated that their systems have not been hacked at all.
Leaked files stated that the NSA was using transactions done through Eastnet to discover where terrorist funding is coming from. Eastnets brought out a statement saying that all servers have been analyzed and no vulnerabilities have been found. Eastnets also stated that the system that was brought up in the 'hacking-documents' is running on a secured server and not accessible through an open network.
Eastnets commented that the so-called 'leaks' where probably referring to the replacement of an internal server in 2013. The CEO has confirmed that client information is secured and no information has been in danger.
