London – On Tuesday 14 february, the British National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) was opened in London. The Security Centre will help the country to detect and act on digital threats.

The center has been active for a couple of months and has already detected and acted on at least 188 attacks. A large amount of these attacks are reported to be carried out by Russian hackers.

The center will grow rapidly in the upcoming months. New security experts are constantly employed to grow and strengthen the center. Apparently the English are preparing for a heavy increase in cyber threats and hopefully more countries will follow their example.
