Symantec suspects that the hackers who attacked the company Sony have already attacked more than hundred companies. This seems to have happened during October last year. The suspects are also known by the name of ''the Lazarus Group''.

Companies from over 30 countries are reportedly hit by attacks. A bank in Poland alerted others, because they found unknown malware in their systems. Since the Polish bank made the alert, the malware has been sighted in multiple countries, such as the U.S., Denmark, Mexico and the United Kingdom.

The Lazarus Group has not been officially targeted as the executor of the attacks, but Symantec does see them as the prime suspect. The Lazarus Group have attacked Sony and a bank in Bangladesh in the past. Sony's valuable company information was stolen during the attack. Companies worldwide should be aware for more attacks.
