Good communication is one of the success factors in information security. Not only communication towards employees is important, but also communication towards stakeholders such as clients, supervisors and media. As a communication specialist and expert in organizational structures I have gained a lot of experience with communication in the government and with setting up policies. In the last 20 years I have been active in watermanagement associations, municipalities, ministries and security regions. I was responsible for (crisis) communication, project management, setting up policies and supporting the board. At this moment I work on different projects from my consultancy company called Adviesbureau voor Bestuur, Beleid en Communicatie, both for profit and non-profit institutions and organizations.
